About the Department
Training researchers who solve real clinical problems through the convergence of AI and bio-healthcare
The Department of AI Healthcare Convergence at CHA University Graduate School brings artificial intelligence and bio-healthcare into a single curriculum and trains researchers who solve problems in clinical settings with data and algorithms. The department offers three concentrations, Medical Big Data, Media Content and Healthcare Management, in master's, doctoral and integrated master's–doctoral programs, and students from different academic backgrounds first build a common foundation through required core courses. Students can use the hospitals and research facilities of CHA Medical Group as research sites and collaborate with medicine, nursing, pharmacy and life science laboratories in the same graduate school. The department aims to educate researchers who can produce patents, papers, projects and teaching, and every lab provides AI computing resources and research data so that students take part in real research from their first semester.
